Another Botox alternative is now available on the market. Xeomin has been available in Europe since 2005 and is now marketed in 20 different countries. It has been used by more than 84,000 patients worldwide. Xeomin was approved for therapeutic use in the U.S. in 2010, and last summer received FDA approval for glabellar wrinkles (the frown lines between the eyes). It works just like Botox and Dysport to weaken the muscles between the eyebrows, on the forehead, or around the eyes (Crow’s feet).
