PFB Vanish: Patients with thick or curly hair often develop razor burn and ingrown hairs. Shaving only makes it worse by “sharpening” the end of the cut hair. These hairs then pierce the hair follicle or curl back into the skin as they grow out. This process produces the red and inflamed bumps and rash associated with shaving and waxing.

Luckily, the product PFB Vanish is a unique roll-on gel designed to alleviate the problem of ingrown hairs, red bumps and razor burn that develop from shaving and waxing. This formulation is specifically designed to gently exfoliate the skin cells and “lift” ingrown hairs above the skin line, which reduces swelling, redness and irritation. Heliocare does not prevent sun exposure, but rather is a potent antioxidant that helps to maintain the skin's ability to protect itself against sun-related effects. For this reason, Heliocare is intended to be used as an additional benefit along with topical sunscreens or sun protection. It begins to work in one-half hour, and typically lasts up to 4 hours. A second pill can be taken if prolonged sun exposure is expected.
