Perlane is a similar hyaluronic acid filler to Restylane. It has a larger gel particle size and thicker concentration, which makes it better suited for deeper wrinkles and depressions in the face. It also has a better effect on thicker skin.

What is Perlane?
Perlane, like Restylane is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural complex sugar compound found naturally in the skin. This compound works to bind and retain water, which keeps the skin plump and volumized. Unfortunately, as we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid in the skin. Perlane and Restylane injections temporarily replace the lost hyaluronic acid, which then fill in the wrinkles or depressions. They are biodegradable and slowly dissolve away over 6-12 months, depending on the area.
